Benita Desa Rae Kespelher

Benita Desa Rae Kespelher, age 48, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born February 7, 1974 in Lafayette, LA and was a lifelong resident of the Moss Bluff Sulphur Area. Desa Rae was a member of the Christian faith. She graduated from Sam Houston High School Class of 1992 and previously attended McNeese State University. Desa Rae was formerly employed by Advantage Staffing for over 20 years. Her passion was spoiling her Son, the outdoors, fishing and paying attention to detail. She leaves behind her three fur babies Sadie, Olive and Bella that she adored.

Desa Rae is preceded in death by her Parents, Andrew and Joann Reeves and a Brother, Jeffrey Snyder.

She is survived by her Husband of 27 years Jeffrey Kespelher of Sulphur, La., Son, Cody Kespelher of Sulphur, La., Brothers, Ricky Reeves of Gillis, La., Lenny Reeves of Moss Bluff, La., Donny Snyder of Moss Bluff, La., Blade Thomas of Texas, Sisters, Bonnie Walker of Ragley, La., Shannon Reeves of Dequincy, La., and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held on September 14, 2022, at 10 AM Wednesday at Creel Cemetery in Reeves, La. Rev. Sean Chisholm will officiate. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
