Bertheline Deville

Bertheline Deville, 84 passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016. She loved to work with crafts, sewing, quilting, and enjoyed playing Bingo at Rosewood where she resided. She was an honorary member of St. Theodore’s Altar Society and Catholic Daughters and the choir.

She is survived by her daughters Juanita Wisdom and husband Ronald of Moss Bluff, Patricia Benoit of Moss Bluff, Christine Racca and husband Donald of Iowa. She leaves behind her grandchildren Melissa Adams, Stephanie Ford, Michael Silva, Stacy Cornett, Roy Joseph Benoit, III, Jennifer Mathes, and Sandy Calin, along with 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband Burnard Deville and her daughter Barbara Young, along with two brothers and her parents.

Services will be held at St. Theodore’s Catholic Church at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, with a rosary at 6:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Visitation will continue the next day from 8:00am until the procession to the church for the mass. Burial will follow at Old Ritchie Cemetery.
