

Emma Lee was born in Elizabeth, LA and lived most of her life in Topsy, LA. She was a member of Topsy United Pentecostal Church. She was a school bus driver for Jeff Davis Parish. She loved gardening and canning. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clifton Reeves; one son, Terry D. Reeves Sr. of Topsy, La; two daughters, Dayna Reeves and Penny Reeves McDonald both of Topsy, LA; one sister, Elma Hamilton of Gillis, LA; three grandchildren, Terry David Reeves Jr., Laura Lee Reeves and Tori Ruth McDonald; one Great-Granddaughter, Rayna Lisa Reeves; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Mickey Chaney of Pitkin, Marie Gill of Moss Bluff, Joyce Cleary of Lake Charles, Shirley Reeves Thames of Lake Charles, Jean Reeves of Ragley, Charles "Pete" and Marion Reeves of Moss Bluff, Wayne and Betty Reeves of Ragley, Mervin and Peggy Reeves of Ragley; numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Homegoing will be at 10:00am Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Topsy United Pentecostal Church. Rev. John Palir III (her Pastor), Rev. Jerry Gilland and Rev. AL. Lyles will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00pm Thursday, September 26 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and then Friday, September 27 from 5:00-9:00pm at Topsy United Pentecostal Church and resume Saturday, September 28 from 8:00am until service time. Burial will be in Creel Cemetery. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Topsy United Pentecostal Church.
