Gladys Lofton

Dolly was born at home in Glenmora, LA on December 20, 1922 to Charles and Ethel Woolsey.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cox and husband Robert of Deer Park, TX, Jacqueline Cox and husband Jack of Mont Belvieu, TX, son, John Thomas Lofton, Jr of Moss Bluff, LA and daughter in law, Anita Lofton of Moss Bluff, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings, her husband, John Thomas Lofton, Sr, her sons, Robert Dale Lofton and his wife Gracie, Charles Donald Lofton, grandson, Gregory Niell Cox and great granddaughter, Kyleigh Elizabeth Manuel.

Dolly was a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 26 great great grandchildren and numerous other children that she cared for over the years working as a care provider.

Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00am, Friday, July 15, 2016 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and resume Friday at 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Ritchie Cemetery.
