

Lake Charles - Lola Mae Robbins. 76. passed away February 29, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was born in Sulphur, La. but lived most of her life in Moss Bluff. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School and Delta Business College. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and later Trinity Baptist Church. She retired from K-Mart as a bookkeeper and with H & R Block as a District Manager. She loved volunteering for her church and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all she knew.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Robbins and wife Cindy of Moss Bluff; John Gilbert Robbins of Moss Bluff; Buddy Martin and wife Pam of Moss Bluff; daughter, Vi Eve Kohrs and husband David of Lake Charles; brothers, Henry O'Quinn and wife Melba of Crowley, Horace O'Quinn and wife Eunice of Sulphur; James O'Quinn and wife Clarice of Monroe; Herbert O'Quinn and wife DeAnna of Carlyss; sister, Jeanette Goleman and husband James of Bastrop; grandchildren, John David Robbins, Brad Robbins, Amy Reeves, Clint Robbins and Sarah Kohrs and many extended step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, all whom she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her father Guestan “Friday” O’Quinn, mother, Edith Ellender, step father Leo Ellender and brother Johnny O’Quinn.
Her service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Rev. Don Robbins and Rev. Lowell Howard will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery.
