Mary Esther Ziefle

Esther was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. She loved bowling with her dear friends and had many stories to relate about her school bus driving days. We will miss her chocolate pies, her sense of humor and her loving arms.

She was one of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Azilee Reeves of Moss Bluff; son, William Wade Musgrove; brothers, Henry “Buck” Ward and Leonard Reeves; sisters, Velma Haggart, Ermy Reeves and Saline Stout. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ziefle of Lake Charles, LA; son, John Clint Musgrove and wife, Angela Frank of California; daughter, Terry Broussard and husband, Vernon of Vinton; brother, Charlie Reeves and wife, Mildred of Moss Bluff; sisters, Melvie Dykes of Moss Bluff and Genevie Powel of Moss Bluff; grandchildren, Candyce Brown of Lake Charles, Jessie Dunham of Vinton, Cody Musgrove of Lafayette, Sarah Broussard of Vinton, Colter Broussard of Vinton, Wade Musgrove of California, Carson Musgrove of California, Grant Musgrove of California and great grandchildren, Hunter and Presley Brown of Lake Charles.

Graveside service for Mrs. Ziefle will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 in Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday 8 a.m. til time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
