She was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and Delta School of Business. She worked as secretary and office manager for Gate Stores and Kelley Hamilton Business Machines.
Maryann is survived by two sons, Gregory Landry and Stanfford Wayne Jackson of Moss Bluff; one daughter, LaRisa Jackson of Lake Charles; two brothers, M.L. Hooper and Tommy Hooper of Moss Bluff; one sister, Vi Hooper of Moss Bluff; one stepdaughter, Barbie McCall; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Her service will be at 12 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Hixson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff. Mike Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. with the Memorial service at noon. Words of comfort may be share with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
