He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Gunston Hall.
He was a loving husband, father and Pop Pop. He enjoyed watching sports and swimming with his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 30 years, Betty Norcross, his son, Rodney Norcross, two daughters; Audrey Stelly (Jonathan), and Ginger Trahan (Robby), 7 Grandchildren; Malacia, Marcus, Brittnie, Rhiannon, Carder, Christina, and Dominick, and 5 Great-grandchildren; Kinslee, Mekale, Renlee, Grayson, and Avery.
The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00am until 2:00pm.
A celebration of life led by Hixson celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will begin at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for funeral services are Robby Trahan, Jonathan Stelly, Arnold Richard, Rodney Norcross, Carder Trahan, and Daylon White and honorary pallbearer Dominick Trahan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
