

Shirley Ray was born in Lake Charles and lived in Moss Bluff. He was a retired Meter Foreman with Gulf State Utilities. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Shirley Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff. He loved to hunt, fish, and he had a passion for fast pitch softball. Mr. Robinson was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sarah Sullivan Robinson of Moss Bluff; daughters, Camy Courville and husband Dale of Moss Bluff, and Patricia Robinson of Moss Bluff; granddaughter, Candace Duhon and husband Jacob of Ragley; and great grandsons, Jace and Noah Duhon.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Interment will follow the service at Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home in Lake Charles and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
