

He was born July 7, 1925 in Mamou, LA to Theodore and Alida (Granger) Shuff. He married Shirley Duraso, who preceded him in death. His parents, one son Steven Bourque and two brothers Dillard Shuff and Hampton Shuff and sister-in-law Gloria Tyler and great-niece Britney Shuff also preceded him in death.
Surviving his brother, Chester Shuff and his four children; Mona Newman, Debra Altman, Nathan Shuff and Danelle Windle all from Indian. His sister-in-law Dorthy Shuff and her three children; Larry Shuff, Judy Sensat and Juanita Domonique and grandchildren; Tiffany Shuff, Tanner Shuff, Devan Sensat, Tina Angiana, Tonya Richard, Bruce Watkins, Micheal Watkins, Robert Watkins, Vickie Watkins, Stephanie Watkins, Sharon Watkins and Malinda Knight., along with nieces and nephews, Shawn Saucier, Cheryl Wright, Bud Wright, Loni Wright, Madilyn Wright, Alexia Gonzalaz, Daniel Gonzalaz, Mark Gonzales, Richard Brown and Hank Wright.
Winnie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked on the pipelines as a security
worker until he retired. He was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church, was an avid Camper who loved to travel and camp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Margaret Catholic Church with burial at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Father Jeff Starkovich will officiate.
