

Mr. Wendell James Parrish, age 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Wendell was born on November 1, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Wendell and Juanith “Clark” Parrish. Wendell loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted fan of the University of Kentucky, proudly cheering on the Wildcats every season. He also loved the Minnesota Vikings, never missing a Sunday game. Wendell found his peace out on the water, fishing and being outdoors. He was considered a “Jack of all Trades” in his carpentry work. Wendell took great pride in his roles as a Husband, Father, and Grandpa; he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
Wendell is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Lee Langley. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Terry Parrish; children, Jessica Scott, Tasha Adams (Zachary), Wendell Adams (Ruby) and Joshua Scott (Pamela); 10 grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Williams and Hobert Langley; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 5:00p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.). Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1:00p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
