Joyce will be remembered as someone who held people close and made family the heart of her world. The love she gave so freely was felt in the everyday moments steady, warm, and unmistakable, leaving behind a legacy of connection and care that will continue to echo through those who knew her.
Joyce loved all people and she never met a stranger, bringing a smile to everyone she met.
She found joy in flowers, drawn to their simple beauty and the way they brighten a space, much like the comfort of her presence did for others. Above all, Joyce was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchild, whom she loved dearly. Her family was her pride and her joy, and the bond she nurtured with them remains one of the most enduring gifts of her life.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, her brother Norbert Gentry, preceded her in death.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Fay. She leaves to cherish her memory, children Donna (Mike) Lester, Heather (Ricky) Lynn, and Alex Goehring. Beloved Grandchildren Haley Lynn (Devin), Aaron Lester (Amber), Connor Lynn, Tyler Lester (Kendall), Great Grandson Carter Cockerill. Sisters, Reva (Jesse) Eubanks and Abbie Murley.
