He was born on July 7, 1953, the son of Carl V. and Ethel Virginia Wright. Carl graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1972. He married the love of his life, Terri Wright, in 1983 and together they built their beautiful family. Carl dedicated himself to serving others as a volunteer firefighter, a reserve police officer, and even an EMS driver. Above all else, Carl cherished his family, they were the center of his universe.
Carl is survived by his wife of 40 years, Terri Wright; children, Kim Wormer (Jimmie Hamblin), Kristi (Bryan) Alspaugh, Brittany (Doug) Rausch, and Kyle (Samantha) Wright; a brother, Donnie Wright; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Carl was preceded in passing by his parents; and a brother, Jerry Wright.
A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at a later date.
