She was born November 22, 1964, the daughter of Roy and Mary Lou Trice.
In her free time, Carol enjoyed diamond painting, sewing and crocheting. She was also a lover of animals and loved spending time with her two dogs.
Carol is survived by her husband, Thomas Szalga; one brother, Gary (Julie) Trice, and a second cousin, Christine Paulson.
She was preceded in passing by her parents and her mother-in-law, Sara Szalga.
Visitation will be 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home; 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN, 47304. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
