He was born Monday, August 9, 1954, the son of Charles David Sr., and Betty J. (Pierce) Moore. Charles graduated from high school and worked several years at Rockwool Industries in Alexandria and at the Muncie Mission. He loved nature and animals and enjoyed auto racing.
Survivors include his brother, Bryan (wife, Teja) Moore; sisters-in-law, Nancy (husband, Jack) Miller and Jackie Cranor; several aunts; uncles; and cousins; and numerous nieces; nephews; and great-nieces.
His father, Charles Davis Moore, Sr.; his mother, Betty J. Richardson; his wife, Shirley A. Moore; a brother, Donald Ray Moore; a nephew, James Moore; and aunts; and uncles preceded him in death.
Cremation has been arranged with Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park at a later date.
