Dale N. Knotts, Age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2015. Dale was born to Archie and Dorothy Knotts on August 22, 1928 in Cowan, IN. Dale worked at Guide Lamp for 40 plus years before his retirement. He was a veteran of United States Army. Dale was a member of the American Legion. He was a wonderful father and Grandfather. Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee Edward and Harold Knotts; sisters Rachel Sue Short and Lela Thennis. He is survived by his sons Kevin (Karen) Knotts and Larry Knotts; Daughters Elizabeth (Ike) Driver and Sharron Emberton; grandchildren Bobby Jr and Dewayne Emberton, Delanea, Michelle, Lyndsay Driver, and Barbara Wayne; 7 great grandchildren; brother Allen Knotts; sisters Thelma Hemphill, Donna Slain. Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2015 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 S. Kilgore Ave., Muncie from 6-8 pm. Services will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1 pm at the funeral home.
