David Lee Cowan

He was born Saturday, April 25, 1992, in San Bernardino, California, the son of Robert Lee Jr. and Glenda Kay (Milton) Cowan. David was a wonderful father and his children were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with all of his family, especially his children and his mom. David enjoyed fishing, camping, going to the gun range to shoot, and anything “outdoors”. He was a Home Health Aide and worked for Hometown Care Services.

Survivors include his mom, Glenda Kay Cowan; children, Daviia Lynnlee Kay Cowan, and Davion DeWayne Cowan; sister, Tiffany (husband, Sean) McKibben; brothers, Robert Lee (companion, Patty Neukam) Cowan III, and William Ray (companion, Megan Powers) Cowan; his fiancé, Jamie Braden; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Cowan Jr., a son, David Lee James Cowan II; a nephew, Landon Ray Cowan.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Ellis officiating. Private burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
