Donna J. Lephart, 84, of Muncie, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at Yorktown Manor in Yorktown, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her daughter, Melinda, her grandson, Alex, and her great-granddaughter, Wrenley. She was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 22, 1940, to Gilbert and Betty (Coates) Rager.
Donna always found the simple pleasures in life, such as getting lost in a good book, absorbed in a movie, or solving many word searches. She valued her privacy but never lost her warmth or kindness. Her life reminds us that not all lives are loud to be meaningful — some are soft and steady.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Melinda (Terrance Stump) Shackelfurd-Stump, and Kelly (Tony) Collicco; grandchildren, Alex Shackelfurd, Jessica (Adam) Henning, Chelesta (Austin) Winkler, Adena (Addison) Ramirez, and Anthony Collicco; and great-grandchildren, Theodore Henning and Wrenley RyAnn Shackelfurd.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; sister, Patty Reading; and grandson, Matt Shackelfurd.
