He was born Saturday, March 5, 1960, in Muncie, the son of Jerry Sr. and Barbara (Harmon) Burden. Gary graduated from Muncie Southside High School.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Paris; brother, Kevin (wife, Allisha) Burden; sisters, Christina (husband, Terry) Winningham, and Nikki (Brian) Burden; step-mother, Nancy Burden; step-sisters, Robin, Cheryl, Karen, and Tracy; two aunts; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
His father, Jerry Burden Sr.; stepfather, Bud Paris; brothers, Jeffery Burden, and Jerry Burden Jr.; preceded him in death.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 at Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Burial will follow the service.
