James had a fulfilling career in accounting at Warner Gear, where he worked for over 30 years. His attention to detail and dedication to his work were appreciated by colleagues and friends alike. After retiring, he enjoyed quiet days at home, indulging in his love for collecting stamps and coins, and watching television.
James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his son, Kevin R. Miller; cousin, Mary (Robert) Boyles; friends, Karen Barron and Tim Holsinger; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Darrel and Bertha Miller; brother, Edward (wife, Marilyn) Miller; sister, Joyce (husband, Don) Williams; and friend, George Koons.
A graveside service will take place at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Elm Ridge Memorial Park, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304.
