He was born February 2, 1974 to John A. Sr. and Dorothy (Warren) Parks in Muncie.
John had worked at Honeywell for 17 years.
He enjoyed R. C. Cars and helping his son, Jaylan work on them and playing catch with his daughter, Malia. John also enjoyed golf, music, especially Motley Crue and Van Halen, Chicago Cubs, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.
He attended Glad Tidings Church, Muncie.
John is survived by his wife, Tammy Renee (Blevins) Parks, whom he married June 13, 1998; son, Jaylan Tyler Parks; daughter, Malia Lache' Parks; parents; sisters, Lisa (Gary) Johnson and Teresa (Tom) Fouch and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clell and Estell Parks and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Frances Warren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
Services will be Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
