She was born Wednesday, March 14, 1945, in Muncie, the daughter of Jack Clore and Velma and Bill Moore. Joey graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1963.
Joey was a loving mother, wife, mamaw, great-mamaw and caregiver to all for helping children and those around her, regardless of their relationship. She was known for taking those in need under her wing and supporting them. Joey loved animals, including hummingbirds and her two dogs. Always young at heart, Joey was more than happy to spend time with her family and grandchildren by going on field trips, playing wiffle ball and having them over at her house. Joey's greatest happiness was having her family around her. Her smile was never bigger, nor was her heart ever fuller than when she was surrounded by the ones she loved.
She worked at the Youth Opportunity Center, then known as the Children's Home. She also worked at Life Touch and Muncie Novelty.
