Joyce D. Dickinson

Joyce D. Dickinson, age 90, of Farmland, passed away on October 25, 2025, at her home. She was born on February 13, 1935, to Joseph and Lassie (Davis) Gibson, in Co-Operative, Kentucky. On December 12, 1952, Joyce married the love of her life, George, in Muncie, and they shared 72 beautiful years together.

Joyce was a woman of simple pleasures. She enjoyed camping, especially in Kentucky, and embroidering, to which she taught her daughters. She absolutely loved flowers and cultivating them in her garden. Above all, Joyce loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind a legacy of love and will be profoundly missed.

Joyce is survived by her husband, George; children, Jimmy (Sheryl) Dickinson, Johnny (Adrianna) Dickinson, Gail (Gary) Watson, Glenda Dickinson Clark, Connie (Philip) Rogers, Jeff (Sharon) Dickinson, and David (Patricia) Dickinson; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
