She was born in Muncie August 16, 1947 to Charles Edward and Vivian Marie (Yingling) Wagner.
Marilyn graduated from Southside High School. Following graduation, she obtained her cosmetology license and real estate broker license as well as being an instructor in Florida for other real estate brokers and agents. She then returned to Indiana and attended Ivy Tech Community College where she obtained a degree in criminology.
Marilyn is survived by her mother, Vivian Marie (Yingling) Wagner; daughter, Cassandra Winslow; sister, Vicki Tremaine; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and cousin, Joyce Holt.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Wagner.
Cremation will take place with a memorial service being held at Elm Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Kyle Holt officiating.
Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service.
Burial of ashes will take place at Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
