He was born Thursday, March 4, 1948, the son of Walter and Elma (Embry) Evans. He graduated from Daleville High School in 1964. He married the love of his life, Reva Evans, on November 18, 1988. Bud loved to rebuild old cars, and was a long-time member of the Piston Poppers.
Survivors include his children, Michelle (John) Rebenack and Kevin Evans; grandchildren, Johnna (Leonard) Wells, Ashley Rebenack, David Rebenack, Benjamin Evans, and Karlaina Evans; great-grandchildren, Addy Wells, Leonard Wells Jr., and Cruz Wells; a sister, Laura Christine (Bob) Hoppes; two nephews, Bobby Hoppes and Eric Hoppes; several cousins and other beloved family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva Evans; and parents, Walter and Elma Evans.
Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at Elm Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11am to 3pm in the Community Room, 4600 W Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
