She will be remembered as a loving, passionate woman who brought comfort and joy to everyone around her.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: knitting, sewing, cooking, and spending quiet moments with a good crossword or word search. Her hands were always busy creating something thoughtful, and her home was always filled with warmth.
She was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Football season was one of her greatest joys, and she never missed a chance to cheer on her teams.
Sherri is survived by her son, Michael Duckett; sister, Bonnie; brothers, Ethan, Shane and Ben; special friend, Sadie; her “other son”, Gabe McDuffey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her parents.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
