Stanley R Gale

Stanley worked many jobs in the Tool and Die industry throughout his life, taking him as far as Georgia, and back to some local shops in Muncie, before eventually retiring from Allison.

An avid golfer, Stanley and his wife, Gail, would often play with the Grasshoppers, a group of couples who would travel and golf together around Indiana. He could also be found playing rounds with his buddies at the Muncie Elks Lodge. In the wintertime, Stanley and Gail liked to travel down to Texas and Florida to enjoy the warm weather. Stanley was an active member of Northside Church of God along with his wife.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 70 years, Regina “Gail” Gale; brother, Dan (Dee) Gale; sisters, Carolyn Oren and Helen (Ned) Wysong; brother-in-law, Ronald McCormick; and several nieces and nephews.

Stanley was preceded in passing by his sons, Gary and Kevin Gale; his parents; sisters, Doris Price, Anna Rose Price and Zelda Friddle; a sister-in-law, Barbara Morris; and a brother-in-law, Floyd McCormick Jr.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, August 8, 2025, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana, 47304, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
