Steven A. Walker, 73, of Muncie, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on February 16, 1952, in Muncie, IN to Clarence Eugene and Ruby (Runyon) Walker. In June of 1985, Steven married Nellie Logan, in Muncie, and she survives.
Steven was a man who found contentment in the simple things and valued his routines. He loved watching television, particularly when any kind of sports were on. But nothing made him happier than spending time with his sons. When they were younger, he cherished watching them play baseball and enjoyed joining in on the game with them.
Bowling was another passion of Steven’s life. He enjoyed both playing and watching the sport, appreciating the skill, competition, and camaraderie that came with it.
Steven is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nellie; sons, Stephen Tyler (Chasity) Walker, of Dayton, OH and Nathan Walker, of Warsaw; 2 granddaughters; brother, Rick (Jo) Walker; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and brother, Wayne Doug (Grace) Walker.
