Susan Elizabeth Krause

Susie was a life-long Muncie resident and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. She worked at Ball State University and State Farm Insurance. She was well-known as a businesswoman and owner of Elegant Accents. She was a wonderful decorator and very creative. Later in life, she created unique and beautiful pottery pieces and enjoyed being part of her pottery group. Susie’s love language was acts of service, and she dedicated her life to helping others, especially Wendy and Jaykeb.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy (Jeff Rawlings) Willmann Howell; grandson, Jaykeb (Kayley Batista) Howell; sister, Dona (Vance) Hayes; brother, Mark (Robin) Clark; many nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many friends.

In addition to both her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jim Krause.

At her request, following cremation, a private gathering will be held for close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Susie was an animal lover; memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Fund), 1209 West Riggin Road, Muncie, Indiana 47303.
