

He was born Monday, June 29, 1964, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Dr. Donald E. Jennings and Phyllis Dunn Jennings. Tom graduated from Wes-Del High school in 1982. He received his Associate of Science in Business Management from Vincennes University in 1988, and also his Associate of Science in Marketing in 1989. He was also a licensed Stock Truck and Forklift Operator, in 2004.
Tom had a strong work ethic and began working while a junior in high school for Westminster Village as a dining waiter and stock clerk. He was also the Assistant Manager for Arby’s in Anderson. He was the owner/operator of Jennings Cleaning. He held other jobs at L.S. Ayers, Tony’s Locker Room, was a Ball State Custodian, and was an assembler for Guide Corporation in Anderson before they shut down. His biggest love was cars, and he was a very successful car salesman at Andy Mohr GMC Pontiac, Stoops, Sam Pierce Chevrolet, Stanley Chevrolet and Bradburn Olds Cadillac where he received five “Salesman of the Month” awards from employers.
Tom also loved sweepers and had a collection of over 80. He especially loved Kirby sweepers and named his pet pug Kirby. Tom was a member of First Baptist Church of Muncie.
Survivors include two sisters, Sally (husband, David) and Jill (husband, Jeff); three nieces, one nephew, and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Dr. Donald E. Jennings and Phyllis Dunn Jennings.
Services have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
