

She was born April 25, 1920 in Wisconsin on the family farm to Caroline and Fred Subera.
Violet moved to Muncie in 1946 where she married James A. King.
She worked at Marhofer Packing until it closed in 1978, and then Centennial Packaging until she retired.
Violet is survived by her son, James T. King, wife Shirley; grandchildren, Elsa Jacobs, husband Derek, Ivy Denman, husband Scott; three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Charlie, and Milena; extended family in Wisconsin of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, Rudy, Ted, and Arthur Subera; four sisters, Julie Stanka, husband Martin, Mabel Duffy, husband, Maurice, Lou Braun, husband Albert, and Evelynn Kaukal, husband, Frank.
There will be no services for Mrs. King per her wishes.
Burial will be in Elm Ridge Memorial Park next to her husband of 31 years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Liberty Village for their care over her last years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice in honor of her memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
