Wanda M. Snider

She was born September 7, 1930 to Carl and Ama (Ritchie) Tolbert in Muncie.

Wanda had worked as an accountant and Bookkeeper for Pepsi, Colonial Bakery, R. J. Whittinger, Excell Manufacturing, and The Cambridge House for Girls.

She was a current member of Glad Tidings Church, past long time member of Industry United Methodist Church, and Gideons International. Wanda had served as the church treasurer and especially enjoyed teaching the children in Sunday School.

She loved gardening, flowers, and fruit trees.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Don Snider, whom she married February 28, 1953; children, Forrest (Lynnee) Snider, and Greg (Steve) Snider; brothers, Forrest (Julie) Tolbert and Carl E. (Dorothy) Tolbert, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Westerman, and a brother, Robert Tolbert.

The family would like to thank the Westminster staff and Hospice Advantage staff for their loving care of Wanda.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kyle Holt officiating.

A private burial will take place at a later time at Tomlinson Cemetery, Muncie.
