Age 89 passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born April 20, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH the son of Alvan and Adalia (Brinker) Haydon. He worked at GE until his retirement and was a member of Washington Lodge # 17, F.&A.M and Shriners.
Melvyn leaves behind his special friends, Birtle Burns, Pete Gormas, and Jack Burns and Lloyd Burns; beloved brother, Robert E. Haydon; 5 nieces and nephews, Vicki (Jim) Tillery, Bob (Faith) Haydon, Daryl (Jean) Haydon, Tina Haydon, and Amanda Riggs; and 17 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Penny Gudema.
