

Anita Santos Aguilar, 94, of Smyrna, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at her home. She was born March 30, 1927 to the late Lazaro Santos and Aniceta Fuerte. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League, the American Legion, and the Veterans Federation of the Philippines. Anita was a gifted seamstress and graduated Valedictorian of her Dress-Making and Tailoring Class. She was the winner of various declamation contest, and participated in Komedya during Fiestas (Folk Drama). She also was a volunteer teacher assisting indigent students.
She is survived by her children, Tess Moulder of Smyrna, Elenita Rillo of Las Pinas City, Philippines, and Regie and Letty Aguilar of Smyrna; grandchildren Heather Moulder of Woodbury, Jared and Sheena Moulder of Tullahoma, Ronald Joseph Rillo of Las Pinas City, Philippines, Rachelle Anne Rillo of Las Pinas City, Philippines, Sharmaine Kathleen Rillo of Las Pinas City, Philippines, Jeric Aguilar of Smyrna, Christine Marie Rillo of Las Pinas City, Philippines, Katrina Aguilar of Smyrna; sister-in-law, Sarah Aguilar of San Francisco; brother-in-law, Crisanto Dumanon of Las Pinas City, Philippines; and great-grandchild, Adyson Nyrie Chandavone.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Roselawn Funeral Home located at 5350 NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 9:00AM until 10:00AM at St. Luke Catholic Church located at 10682 Old Nashville Hwy in Smyrna. Funeral Mass will follow Saturday Visitation at 10:00AM with a graveside service to follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Following the burial family will receive friends and family in the social hall of St. Luke’s Catholic Church for fellowship.
