William Marvin "Billy" Norfleet, Sr. Age 80 of Nashville, Tennessee. He passed away on January 31, 2021. He was born on February 5, 1940 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Bailey and Lucille Darnell Norfleet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife and friend, Betty Norfleet; brothers, Bobby James and Bailey Norfleet, Jr.
Billy was known for his love and dedication to the Ford Glass Plant where he worked and retired after 37 years. While at Ford Glass he was known as "Tangle-eye".
He is survived by his children, Joyce Payne (Larry), Penny (Craig) Hastings, Debbie (George) Mathis, Billy Norfleet, Jr. (Alicia); and Kimberly Norfleet (Mark); 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; siblings, Jean Wolford, Mary Douthit and Patsy Adams; and many, many nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Phillips Hall of Roselawn Funeral Home. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from twelve noon until time of services at two o'clock in the afternoon at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
