Donald E. Qualls, age 80, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Quality Center for Rehab and Healing in Lebanon after an extended illness. Mr. Qualls was born in Murfreesboro to the late Frank Qualls and Tennie Travis. He is survived by his wife of over 56 years, Alice Herrod Qualls; daughter, April Qualls Ungar and her husband Gary; brother, Wallace Qualls and his wife Stella; and sister, Charlotte Thomas. He was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Frank Qualls and James Winfrey Qualls and sisters, Mary Ann Victory and Dorothy Faulk. Graveside services for Mr. Qualls will be at Eleven o’clock the morning of Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from Ten o’clock until the graveside at Eleveno’clock at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Mr. Qualls proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist and worked for Krogers for many years as a butcher. The family prefers that donations be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church in his memory.
