

He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Coursey Bean, brother, James Bean, and son-in-law, Kenneth Gatlin.
Funeral Service will be 11:00am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Charles Mullins, Lynn Watson, and Bryan Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Gatlin of Knoxville, brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion and Doris Bean of Murfreesboro, Kenneth and Pat Bean of Fayetteville, and Faye Bean of Franklin, grandchildren, Amy LeFevre and her husband Daniel, Ashley Sachs and her husband Aaron, all of Knoxville, great granddaughter, Addison Grace LeFevre.
Mr. Bean was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ. He was in the grocery business in Murfeesboro for more than 48 years and was founder of Jr.’s Foodland on East Main Street until his retirement in 1992.
Pallbearers will be Tim Mendoza, Tony Mendoza, Bryan Bean, Bryan Campbell, Jay Bean, Randy Reynolds, Craig Light, Daniel LeFevre, and Aaron Sachs.
