James Edward “Big Jim” Williams, Jr, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home. Mr. Williams was the son of the late James Edward Williams, Sr. and Beverly Jean Tasky Williams. He is survived by “His Sweets”, Kathy Williams; daughter, Marissa Hannon; sons, Michael and Wade Coble; grandchildren, Brayden and Colton Hannon and Alexander James “AJ” Tidwell. Services to celebrate Jim will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Monday, May 29, 2017, “Memorial Day” at Roselawn Funeral Home. Placement with Military Honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Jim was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving in the SeaBee’s as a Construction Mechanic Second Class. He was also a career diesel mechanic, a weapons and classic muscle car enthusiast and a lover of all things Harley Davidson. In lieu of customary floral tributes, memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or your local Patriot Guard.
