Judy Lamb Parrish, age 98, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday evening, February 1, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. Mrs. Parrish was the daughter of the late Haney Benjamin and Daisy Mahen Lamb and she was the wife of the late James W. Parrish, who passed away in 1990 and mother of the late Walter S. Parrish and late Whitney C. Parrish. She is survived by her son, Glenn O. Parrish; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Parrish will be at Eleven O’clock the morning of Friday, February 6, 2026, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Mike Lamb officiating.
Mrs. Parrish worked for the US Army at Sewart Air Base starting in 1945 and retired from the VA Medical System after 20 years of service. After she retired from the VA, she worked various other jobs and would have a second career as the unit secretary for the Intensive Care Unit at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.
