Maria Antonette Horner, age 76, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away the morning of Thursday, December 18, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Horner was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph Anthony and Antonette Mutone DeStefano. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Melvin Horner; son, Johnathan Horner and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Harrison Horner and Ava Horner; siblings, Dominica DiMeo and husband Tony, JoAnn Miller and husband Teddy, Joseph DeStefano, Branda DiGiacomo and husband Joe, Jennifer DeFerdinand and husband Paul, Peter DeStefano and his wife Julie, Mark DeStefano, Paula DeStefano and Matthew DeStefano and his wife Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Angela Pflugfelder and Deanna DeStefano.
Services to celebrate Mrs. Horner will be at Twelve O’clock noon on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Springhouse Church, 14119 Old Nashville Highway, Smyrna, Tennessee, 37167 with visitation also on Monday morning from Ten O’clock until the service begins at Twelve noon. Burial will be at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
