Myra Ann Huggins

Myra Ann Huggins, age 85, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away Thursday morning, December 19, 2019 at Creekside at Three Rivers. She was the daughter of the late Mary Robinson Brown Sampson and the late Fonnie Buster Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Huggins, who passed away in August of this year, 2019. Mrs. Huggins is survived by her; sons, Kent Huggins and his wife Rachel, Wayne Huggins and his wife Vickie and Mark Huggins and his wife Jami; sister, Barbara Jernigan; grandchildren, Ryan Huggins and his wife Amanda, Melissa Hinson and her husband TJ, Todd Huggins and his wife Renee, Chad Huggins and his wife Dana, Chris Reed, Kelly Smith and her husband Jeremy, and Kyle Huggins; and 15 great grandchildren; and she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jessica Huggins Riddick and by her brother, Benny Brown. Services to celebrate Mrs. Huggins will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Monday, December 23, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa Johnson officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Huggins was a longtime member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir performing numerous solos. She was a licensed Cosmetologist and the longtime Director of the Preschool at Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Ryan Huggins, TJ Hinson, Todd Huggins, Chad Huggins, Chris Reed, Kyle Huggins and Jeremy Smith.
