Penelope Jane (Haney) Woods 84, of Lockport NY entered into eternal rest Sunday December 24, 2023, at Waters of Shelbyville Nursing Home, Shelbyville TN. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker for most of her days. Penelope enjoyed sewing, making fun crafts, jigsaw puzzles and baking. She most enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies and Lucille Ball. She was a member of the Buffalo Club of the Deaf, Tampa Club of the Deaf. Penelope worked at Your Host restaurant, Transit Bowling Lanes and Ferree Plastics of Lockport NY. Penelope lived in Mulberry Fl during her retirement years. Born July 4, 1939, in Lockport NY. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years Albert T Woods Sr., parents Charles and Rachel (Haney) Baird. Brothers Charles, Richard. Sister Nancy Booker. Survived by sisters Vivian (late William) Spencer and Barabara Juszczyk. Children Mary, Penelope (Tom Mazurowski)Freeland, Florence (Robert) DePonceau and Albert T(Niki)Woods Jr. 10 Grandchildren , 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held Wednesday January 3 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home beginning at Noon.
