5 septiembre, 1969 – 12 enero, 2026
Obituario de Frank Joseph Pitetti Jr.
EN EL CUIDADO DE

Miller Jones Mortuary and Crematory

Frank Joseph Pitetti Jr., age 56, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2026, at his home.

Frank was born on September 5, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Helene Matunis Pitetti

and Frank Pitette (born Pitetti). Family was central to Frank’s life, and his love and respect for

his mother remained a constant throughout his life.

At a young age, Frank and his father moved to Florida, where he spent his formative years and

attended Coastal Middle & High School in Lake Park, Florida. From early on, he was drawn to

challenge, responsibility, and the water. Fishing became a lifelong passion and a place of peace

for him.

Frank proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1990 to 1998, serving

honorably and rising to the rank of Sergeant. He was respected for his calm leadership,

technical skill, and commitment to mentoring others.

Following his military service, Frank continued a distinguished career in law enforcement,

serving multiple Southern California agencies. Throughout his career, he was known for

professionalism, leadership, and dedication to training and developing officers.

In retirement, Frank found great personal fulfillment as Captain of Ironclad Sportfishing. Holding

a United States Coast Guard 100-ton Captain’s license, he became known not only for skill on

the water, but for patience, hospitality, and creating meaningful experiences for others.

Frank is survived by his wife, Nguyen Thi Thuy-Mai “Crystal” Pitetti; his son, Christopher James

Pitetti; his mother, Helene Matunis Pitetti; his sisters and their families; and a wide community of

Marines, law-enforcement officers, anglers, and friends whose lives he touched.

Frank lived with discipline, integrity, loyalty, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the people

he trained, protected, inspired, and loved.

Semper Fidelis.
