Rodger William Stroud

Rodger W. “Buddy” Stroud, Sr. of Murrieta, Ca. passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Husband of the late Judith M. Stroud. Loving father of Donna (Joseph) Kristek, Rodger (Melissa) Stroud, and Anthony Stroud. Cherished grandfather of Ryan (Kiana), Justin (Trish), and Tyler (Ari) Stroud. Dear brother of Carolee (William) Chase, Robert (Carol Ann) Stroud, Loretta (Marvin) Schletz, John (Gay) Stroud, James Stroud, Kevin (Marie) Stroud, William (Diana) Stroud, Sr., Debra (Paul) Batzel, Paul (Judy) Stroud, and Mary Beth (Michael) Kenny. Dear brother-in-law of James (Claudia) Geraci, Catherine (Joseph Cuci) Geraci, George (Scott Sturzl) Geraci. Preceded in death by his parents Loretta and Rodger Stroud, brother John Stroud, brother-in-law Marvin Schletz, and sisters-in-law Carol Ann Stroud, and Marie Stroud.

Memorial service arrangements are pending at Hope Lutheran Church in Temecula California and then an additional service to follow in Midlothian Illinois with a final resting place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip Illinois.
