Ann Crawford Howard

She was born in Chireno, Texas, to parents, Oliver Benton Crawford and Texas Sewell Crawford on February 15, 1930.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Friday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.

Visitation will be offered from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow.

Ann was the saluatorian of her graduating class at Chireno High School and a graduate of Massey Business School.She was employed by Massey Business school until she met her husband J.M. Howard and married on February 10, 1955. In her later years, she was a Volunteer of America - Vista Program. Ann was a longtime member of New Faith Baptist Church and Pythian Sister-Temple #113 for over 15 years where she held numerous positions.

Ann was also an active member of the Pin Oak Garden Club of Bellaire, Texas where she held numerous offices and served on many committees.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ollie Crawford, Joe Crawford; husband, J.M. Howard; and daughter, Alisa Turregano.

She is survived by her son, Jim Howard and spouse, Mary Jean; grandsons, Stanley Hogan and spouse Lissette, Michael Myles Turregano,Jonathan Howard and spouse Savanah, Michael Howard and spouse, Ashley; granddaughter, Christina Ward and spouse, Timothy; great grandchildren, Jill Vera, Zack Vera, Dian Vera, Connor Hogan, and Addison Turregano.
