Bennie was born in Nacogdoches County, Texas on July 22, 1936 to Manual Odie Gentry and Bessie Coats Gentry.
Bennie and Willis B Wilson were married on April 4, 1959, and he preceded her in death.
Survived by daughter, Phyllis Wilson of Nacogdoches.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis; sisters, Bobbie Whitton, Jolene Owens and brother, Willie Gentry.
Pallbearers: Mark Pool, Stan Bobo, Samuel Goodrum, Vlad Goodrum, Billy Scarbrough.
At Bennie’s request there will be no visitation.
A graveside service for Bennie will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 5127 North St, Nacogdoches, TX 75965. Pastor Bailey Alders officiating of Christian Life Center in Nacogdoches.
