Beverly "Neill" Shelton

Beverly "Neill" Shelton, age 83, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born on February 12, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, to Jesse Shelton and Irene Thompson Shelton.

Neill served his county in the Air Force. He worked in carpentry, working for himself for many years. He did sheet rocking, finishing and maintenance for multiple companies. Neill loved drawing and painting, fishing and hunting.

In his free time Neill enjoyed knife making, reading, toothpick houses, and carving.

Survived by his sons, Nick Shelton and wife Donna, Victor Shelton, and Atticus Shelton and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Heather Gardner, Monica Smith, Jessica Shelton, Jaclyn Bailey, Collin Shelton, Seely Shelton, Jeremy Shelton and Oaklee Shelton.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Shelton; numerous brothers and sisters; and grandson, Mason Shelton.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a service beginning at 11:00 AM, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
