A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches.
A long-time resident of East Texas, Cheryl attended Central Heights High School and later received her Associate’s Degree with a business focus at Panola College. She was a member of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club where she was involved in fundraisers for charities like Make-a-Wish and St. Jude’s, among others.
Some of her hobbies included making jewelry, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Fefe. Cheryl was extremely outspoken, and she was known for being “little, but loud” earning her the nickname “Little Bit” among her friends.
Mrs. Tyler was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Vick; and brother, Jerry Vick.
She is survived by her mother, Jan Vick; daughters, Catherine Vick and husband Mitchell Ray, and Lindsey Tyler; grandson, Nicholas Ingle; brother, Robbie Vick and wife Kay; nephew, Jonathan Vick and wife Nina; niece, Jaymee Leymance and husband Scotty; and several other relatives and friends.
