Today marks a year since Chris passed. My father was one of the most important and influential people in my life. Losing him has been the most painful thing I've ever endured. He wasn't perfect but he was turning his life around like the past never happened. Within an instant he was gone. No trace and no warning. Gone. I was so proud and still am and I pray everyday he can say the same for me. We as a family have faired well but keep us in your prayers.

Chris was definitely the life of the party. I can't think of one time I ever saw him not being the selfless, and the most heartfelt man we all knew him as. I didn't see him as much as I wanted to because of the distance, but when we got together it was like we never missed a beat. I think my favorite memory is Clay's birthday one year. One minute me and Colton are beating the crap out of each other in the front yard, the next we're shooting whiskey with Chris later that night. I'll never forget the way he sang, turn the page will always make me think of him. I don't understand why he was taken from us, but it's not my place to ask God why. He's gone for a reason but never forgotten. I love you Chris, give everyone our best and we'll see you on the other side.

My father was the most loving and caring man I knew. He always wanted his friends and family to feel stronger and better about themselves and himself. I will always love you dad. Rest in peace😔. 


Chris hung out with all of my  kids(biological and otherwise).  Didn't always see eye to eye, but always worked it out. He was one of "my boys". I will miss him greatly.

Chris,  I will miss your humor, you were so talented, give momma, grandma ,grandpa  and all the rest a big hug from me. Sing Momma a  good  ole country song for me.  LOVE Ira.

My fave memory was a group of us went to  Bonita Creek Hall & I wanted to dance but I didn’t come with a group of dancers, except Stilley. He spun me around that country dance floor like I didn’t believe a big guy could. It was SO much fun & this has always been a life memory of mine to make me smile. I’ve always be thankful he gave that to me.

Chris was an awesome guy. We used to hangout a lot before life happens. He used to always ask me for snuff it was our running joke. So many good memories. He will be missed greatly.

Chris was my uncle, maybe not by blood but he has been their before I was even born, and ever since the dad I came into this world he has been.... But he was more than and uncle he was like a best friend and someone I could talk to about anything and he would give me advice and help me any time.... He always cheered me up, we used to sing together and laugh and hang out all the time.... He always told me that when I got older he was gonna take me to karaoke with him so I could watch him sing.... I've been trying to get in touch with him for months now and I never could get ahold of him and then the other morning my grandma calls and tells me he went to heaven.... God I miss him so much I just wish I could have had one more conversation with him and sang one more song.... I love you uncle Chris RIP ❤❤

He was a guy that could walk into a room and the whole place lit up with his Spirit always a funny guy.  I’ll always think about ya ,because I’m gonna make the Owner of Fredonia Brewery have a Blonde Beer Named After you! “Stilley Blonde”

My cousin Chris was  the joy of my summers and family reunions. He gave me my first beer, and my first keg of beer. We didn't get to see each other all the time because of distance but when we did see each other we were inseparable  we all ways had a good time and laughed at each other. Played lots of pool sang lots of karaoke(well he sang), But the best memory I  think I have is of him piercing my ears when I was 14 he said they made the loudest pop he had ever heard.    In his one of a kind way of telling it. I still wear those peircings to this day He was the loudest and funniest spirit in the room a showman of his own right and a Star in my eye. I adored and admired him in so many ways. I love and miss you more than any words can express . 

I've been knowing this man since elementary school, and I don't remember one time in all the time he was here that he and I had a cross word. He was a funny guy, and he was always willing to give a helping hand. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Chris. 

Chris and I go back about 15 years. He once told me he would drink my bath water if I would go out with him. I never forgot that line he used. He was so funny and talented.  He will be missed by many.

He leaves behind a son, Seth Eugene Stilley, 17; daughter, Lexie Marie Stilley, 7; father, Danny Stilley; mother, Shirley Holloway; grandmother, Marie Stilley; sister, Shannon Stover and husband Clay; nieces, Nicole Moore and husband Andrew, Savana Jernigan and husband Nate; nephew, Colton Stover; 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by is granddaddy, Buster Stilley; and grandparents, Arlis and Alma Watson
