Coby Scott Murray

He was born November 23, 1992, in Nacogdoches, Texas. A graduate of Central Heights High School, Coby was a full time student at Angelina College while also working as a forklift operator.

His survivors include his father, Daniel Murray Sr. and wife Michele of Nacogdoches; mother, Carol Murray of Huntsville, Texas; grandmother, Juanita Murray of Nacogdoches, Texas; sister, Holly Myers and husband Chad of Montgomery, Texas; sister, Wendy Murray and daughter Carli of Huntsville, Texas; brother, Daniel Murray Jr. of Nacogdoches, Texas; two step-sisters, Tiffany Atkinson of Longview, Texas, and Shelby Strickland of Tyler, Texas; a step-brother, Zac Northcutt of Abilene, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, and friends.

Coby was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald Murray, Earl New, and Eleanor New; and an uncle, Joe New.

Funeral services have been set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Bro. Jerry L. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hartt, Brady Baker, Justin Jordan, Brandon Johnson, Charlie Chapman, Keith Murphy, Garrett Ammons, and Weston Crawford.
